About Titanium

Titanium is one of the lightest jewelry metals around, much lighter than tungsten, steel, or gold. The LEIFI is light enough on the finger that you can forget you're wearing it, which is why titanium is popular with anyone whose hands work all day.

Titanium is more scratch-prone than tungsten or ceramic, but it doesn't chip, doesn't bend out of round under normal use, and can be cut off in an emergency. It's also fully hypoallergenic, the same reason it's used in medical implants.

Titanium is corrosion-resistant against saltwater, sweat, chlorine, and most chemicals. The LEIFI won't oxidize, tarnish, or trigger nickel allergies, making it a strong choice for travel, water sports, and active wear.

About the Koa Wood Inlay

Koa is a Hawaiian hardwood, historically reserved for royalty and now grown on managed forest land in Hawaii. The LEIFI's koa wood inlay shows the signature curl and chatoyance the wood is famous for: the grain shifts between honey-gold and deep amber as the ring catches the light, an optical effect from the wood's natural fiber alignment.

Each piece of koa is one-of-a-kind. The grain pattern, color depth, and figure vary across every cut. Koa is dense enough to be durable in a ring inlay but warm enough to take to body temperature instantly, giving the LEIFI a distinctive feel that metal-only rings can't match.

Care: koa is real wood. Keep it relatively dry, avoid soaking in pools or hot tubs, and condition the surface every 6-12 months with our included ring oil. With basic upkeep the wood deepens in color over the years rather than fading.

Sizing & Fit

The LEIFI is comfort fit, meaning the inside of the band is rounded rather than flat, which makes it easier to slide over the knuckle and more comfortable for all-day wear. Comfort-fit rings typically size a half-size smaller than standard-fit rings, so if you normally wear a size 10 standard-fit, you'll likely wear a 9.5 in the LEIFI.

Care Instructions

The LEIFI stands up to water, sweat, and saltwater without oxidizing. Wipe with a soft cloth daily, warm soapy water for buildup. Titanium can pick up surface scratches over years of wear, but those polish out with a light buff if needed. No chemical cleaners required.

Every LEIFI includes free inside laser engraving. Add a wedding date, initials, coordinates, or any phrase up to 30 characters. Engraving is permanent, professionally applied, and does not delay shipping.
