The Metal

Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4× harder than titanium and 10× harder than 18k gold. That's not marketing language; it's a measurable Mohs hardness of 8.5-9. In practical terms: this band will not scratch from keys, tools, gym equipment, or daily contact with desks, steering wheels, or phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.

The black exterior tone is a PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish bonded to the tungsten core at the molecular level - not paint or plating. It won't peel, strip, or wear through. The blue groove is PVD-filled at the same molecular level. The blue interior sleeve is anodized aluminum - a hard oxide coating that locks the color into the metal. The metal is fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free. The beveled profile chamfers the outer edges.

The LELRA is a hidden-color wedding band. From the outside the ring reads mostly black: brushed black face, polished black beveled edges, with one deep-blue groove line splitting the center. Turn the ring inward and the inside of the band reveals a full deep-blue anodized aluminum sleeve - a bright flash of sapphire color lining the interior where only the wearer sees it most of the time.

That interior color is the story. Anodized aluminum creates a hard oxide layer with color locked into the metal surface itself, not painted on. It's a technique borrowed from aerospace and performance hardware - durable, scratch-resistant, and vivid. The outside keeps the ring grounded in masculine black; the inside rewards the wearer with something personal only they know is there.
