The Metal

Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4× harder than titanium and 10× harder than 18k gold. That's not marketing language; it's a measurable Mohs hardness of 8.5-9. In practical terms: the MOOSAIRE will not scratch from keys, tools, gym equipment, or daily contact with desks, steering wheels, or phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.

The gold tone isn't plating. It's a physical-vapor-deposited (PVD) gold-tone layer bonded to the tungsten at the molecular level - the same process used on high-end watch bezels. It won't peel, strip, or wear through. The metal is also fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free, which matters if your skin reacts to other rings. The domed profile rounds off the outer band edge to edge, which makes the ring read larger than its 8mm width and gives the inlay a flowing visual line instead of a flat channel.

The Moss Agate Inlay

The stone running through the MOOSAIRE is real moss agate - a translucent silica mineral (Mohs 7) with naturally formed dendritic inclusions that look like dark green moss, ferns, or branching growth suspended inside a milky-white base. It isn't printed; it isn't dyed. The pattern is mineral oxide (usually manganese or iron) that grew inside the stone millions of years ago as it formed. Every piece is unique - no two moss agate slices look alike.

We cut and fit each slice into the band channel by hand, then seal it under the same UV-stable hard resin used on the rest of our inlaid rings. The resin locks the stone in and protects the surface from scratches; the moss agate's natural pattern shows through clearly under the resin, and because it's a real stone, it won't fade with time or sunlight.
